You’ve Got Questions. We’ve Got Answers!

Can I enroll without an email address?

No, we’re sorry. Here’s why: Everyone participating in My Fitness Rewards must have a unique email address associated with their account along with a password in order to gain access. If you have forgotten which email address you used to sign up, click on: “Forgot email?” on the login page, then follow the instructions. If you don’t remember your password, click on: “Forgot password?” and follow the on-screen instructions.

How do I find out if my club offers My Fitness Rewards?

On the welcome page, go to CLUB LOCATOR and select MEMBER ENROLLMENT. You can then choose your insurance partner and enter the zip code where your club is located. If your club is listed, you can ENROLL. If your club does not pull up on the list, NIHCA has a form to fill out that allows you to NOMINATE A CLUB. https://nihca.org/nominate-a-club/

I have a membership at more than one club. Can I enroll at both?

Unfortunately, no. The incentive program can only be utilized at one participating club. Workouts at different clubs cannot be combined together to make a total monthly workout count.

What is a club barcode?

Your club should provide each member with a unique id (barcode). If you don’t have one, your club will be able to provide it. Alternatively, some clubs use a member number or your phone number to identify their members. This is acceptable on My Fitness Rewards as well.

Can I add my spouse to my My Fitness Rewards account?

While you can’t add your spouse, if eligible, your spouse can enroll themselves in My Fitness Rewards. Each eligible member needs to have their own account that is tied to a unique email address. Your spouse can enroll in My Fitness Rewards by choosing MEMBER ENROLLMENT under the MEMBERS tab.

Can I use the same email address as my spouse?

Unfortunately, you can’t. Each member will need their own unique email address in order to complete the enrollment process. Duplicate emails are not allowed in My Fitness Rewards.

My child is on the same insurance plan as me. Can I add them as a 2nd person on my plan?

Under most conditions, two people under the same insurance plan can be reimbursed for their workouts, but not always. Some programs do allow children (18 years of age or older) to be included in the fitness reimbursement program. To verify eligibility qualifications, talk with your HR department and/or insurance company.

I need to update my banking information. Can I do that?

You can! Simply click the LOGIN button on the welcome screen and log in with your email address and password. On the BANKING tab, navigate to UPDATE. Once you have your new information entered, click SAVE CHANGES.

How do I switch to a different club on My Fitness Rewards?

You will need a new barcode or member number from your new club. Click the LOGIN button on the welcome screen and log in with your email address and password. Navigate to the ACCOUNT INFORMATION tab and enter the name of the new club, then click SAVE.

My insurance provider has changed. Can I change it in my profile?

The short answer is yes! However, if you changed to a new insurance provider or received a new policy number, you will need to wait until the last reimbursement is processed through your prior information. (For example, if your new provider or policy is effective July 1st, you will need to wait until June workouts have processed and your reimbursement is received toward the end of July before you change insurance information in your My Fitness Rewards account.) Log in to your account and navigate to the PARTNER tab. You can update your insurance information here, then click SAVE.

In order to qualify for the reimbursement credit, how many times do I need to work out per month?

Each insurance company or employer group has their own requirements. If you are unsure, it’s best to contact member services on the back of your insurance card or reach out to your HR Department.

How are my workouts calculated?

Workouts are calculated by calendar month and are not pro-rated. Only one workout per day counts toward the incentive program.

I can’t remember how many times I have worked out this month. Is there a place I can find this information?

The best way to get this information is to ask your club for your monthly workout tally. You can see the number of workouts that were reported under the reimbursement history for past months, but this information is not available until the data is sent to your provider.

I completed my required workouts. When will I receive my credit?

Any eligible reimbursement should post to your bank account approximately the last week of the following month. (For example: for workouts completed in February, the reimbursement credit will be sent to your bank account the last week of March.)

I stopped going to the club for a while. Can I re-enroll in My Fitness Rewards?

Yes, you may participate but do not re-enroll a second time in My Fitness Rewards; this would create a duplicate profile. Click the LOGIN button and enter your email address and password. Once in your existing account, you can update any personal information. Reach out to your club to let them know if your status is not Active in your My Fitness Rewards profile.

Sometimes I work out at home. Do these workouts count toward my monthly totals?

No, I am sorry. Workouts must be completed at your club in order to qualify for the fitness reimbursement program.
